Job Summary
The Testing Services Specialist serves as direct support to the daily operations of test administration. This position will be certified to administer exams from each testing vendor and trained to proctor academic exams for students. Oversee test preparation and administration to ensure the security of test materials and student confidentiality under ADA, FERPA, Academic Integrity, and other applicable laws/policies. In addition to test administration, this role will also provide overall administrative support to the office.
The starting salary for this position will begin at $17.65 an hour plus benefits.
Required:
- High school diploma/GED
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative support role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
- Advanced computer and related software skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels within and external to the university to support department needs
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures to proactively resolve issues or improve processes
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Testing Administration or Higher Education Experience
