Job Title: Program Planner/ Analyst - Tester Ybor Youth Clinic

Hiring Salary/Salary Range: $21.63 - $25.00 per hour

DUTIES:

This position is responsible for running the STI/HIV testing program at the Ybor Youth Clinic, an off-site Department of Pediatrics. The person in this position performs testing, processes samples, and tracks results. Additional duties include patient education regarding safe sex and HIV prevention strategies and available research studies being conducted at the clinic. The position also assists the clinic's front desk and nurse manager positions to ensure smooth running of the clinic.

Perform HIV/STI testing as per clinic protocol with appropriate follow-up and notification of results. Monitor clinic supplies needed to perform testing.

Participate in YYC risk reduction activities by counseling patient, referring patients as appropriate to research studies, contacting clinic navigator regarding needed referrals, and working with Client Services Manager on educational messaging posted throughout the clinic.

Assist in the development of educational messaging posted in the clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a field directly related to health care or public health and two years of professional experience; or Master's degree in an area of specialization appropriate for the program.

FLSB1310 equivalency:
Four years of directly related experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Six years of directly related experience can be substituted for a Master's degree.

Preferred:

Certification in Rapid HIV testing, phlebotomy skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.

Other:

Spanish speaking.
