Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Test Preparation Assistant - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Answering student inquiries (answering phones & emails) by providing detailed information on the test prep courses and registration instructions.

  • Setting up and maintaining classroom reservations.

  • Processing student registrations and class follow-up.

  • Completing or helping with special projects.

  • Performing general clerical duties, including copying and mailing.

  • Maintaining communications between the test prep office and test prep students/parents.

  • Assisting with class scheduling and communication with instructors.

  • Updating classes on website and on FAU’s learning management system.

  • Marketing courses around campus with posters, flyers and catalog postings in campus buildings, and attending events as a representative of FAU Test Prep.

  • Distributing promotional e-mail correspondence through e-mail blasts.

  • Occasionally organizing and proctoring practice diagnostic tests in the GCS testing lab.

  • Organizing and coordinating exam score reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma required.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with web entry required.
Strong customer service skills required.
Communication and written skills required.

Salary:

$15.00 per hour.

Monday - Friday, hours will vary between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Schedule is mostly flexible; a few Saturdays if needed.
