The Institute for Biomedical Sciences at Georgia State University invites applications for one tenure-track faculty position at the Associate Professor level to begin in August 2024. Applicants should have an Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Science or a related discipline. Prospective applicants should have an exceptional record of achievement in biomedical research, a commitment to biomedical science education and a strong record of scholarly activity including outstanding external federal funding. All areas of Biomedical Science will be considered with preference given to candidates with expertise in the areas of microbiome and gastrointestinal inflammatory and infectious diseases, microbial pathogenesis, vaccine and drug development in infectious diseases, immunology and inflammation. New faculty members will be supported by competitive start-up packages and excellent laboratory space.
