The College of Engineering and Technology is comprised of the departments of Computer Science, Construction Management, Engineering, and Technology Systems. Job Duties
This is a temporary position for the 2024 spring semester. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to develop and maintain the Construction Management curriculum, mentoring/advising students, perform service functions, work with construction industry representatives, work in a team setting and make positive contributions to the department, and perform any other task(s) assigned by the Department Chair. Service to the university, community, and profession is expected. The selected candidate will be required to teach one or more sections of the following courses and all associated labs: Construction Project Management, Construction Scheduling and Cost Control, Construction and Civil Materials, Construction Surveying as well as a Construction Capstone course.
Minimum Education/Experience
Qualified applicants with the minimum academic qualifications at the Masters’ Degree level in an appropriate discipline will be considered for this fixed-term temporary appointment. Degrees, in order of preference are Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Management or a related field. All Degrees must be conferred from a regionally accredited Institution.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
A combination of teaching at the university level and at least 3 or more years of recent relevant industry experience in the US at the project management level is desirable. Preference will be given to applicants qualified to teach courses in the following areas: Construction Methods and Materials, Scheduling, Estimating, Cost Control, Safety, Mechanical and Electrical Systems (MEP), Building Systems and Codes.
