The purpose of this position is to advance the understanding of variability in the pharmacological action of Nonsteriodal Antiinflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). The successful candidate will study pharmacological activity of NSAIDs in syndromes of inflammatory pain and hypertension in human clinical trials and in model organisms. The research will focus on sources of variability in the clinical response to these drugs. Responsibilities will include oversight and conduct of clinical trials and complex experiments into pharmacological responses to NSAIDs in model organisms.
