Position Summary:


Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the department of Pediatrics at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
The primary purpose of the research assistant position is to support research that focuses on understanding and promoting optimal child developmental health among children from under-resourced communities.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Ensuring accurate and timely input and management of interview, survey and focus group data. 
  • Recruiting potential participants and obtaining informed consent in clinical and community settings.
  • Conducting interviews and focus groups in English and Spanish.
  • Assisting with data collection, basic analysis and preparation of abstracts and manuscripts with supervision.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate/ graduate student or recent graduate of an accredited college or university, with computer experience including excel.

  • Physical Demands: Standing, sitting, walking, talking or hearing. No special vision requirements. Lift or exert up to 25 lbs.
  • Work Environment: Home and/or Office environment. Moderate Noise.

Salary: $19.00/hour
