Job Description Summary

Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt
The interium IROC(Imaging & Radiation Oncology Core) Grant Operations and Renewal member is responsible for conducting research, facilitating collaboration, and managing projects to ensure the successful operation and renewal of grants that align with IROC's mission. This includes researching and identifying grant opportunities, collaborating with IROC QA centers, developing compelling grant proposals, managing budgets, and building relationships with partners and stakeholders. The appointee will monitor grant performance, prepare renewal proposals and progress reports, and maintain accurate records.

Duties

  • Coordinating IROC operations across QA centers, managing meetings and projects

  • Assist in understanding grant eligibilty criteria and requirements

  • Collaborate with IROC leaders to develop compelling project ideas and narratives that effectively communicate the value proposition

  • Gather and organize necessary information and data to support the grant application, such as budgets, timelines, and impact metrics

  • Review and edit grant proposals to improve clarity, coherence, and overall impact while ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and requirements

  • Provide guidance on budget development, ensuring that proposed costs are reasonable, justifiable and aligned with the grants purpose

  • Assist IROC in identifying and securing appropriate partnerships, collaborations, or letters of support to strengthen their grant application

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience with grant writing, research and project coordination is preferred.

Pay Range
