The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Financial Aid Assistant. The Financial Aid Assistant assists with providing excellent customer service by helping with front desk, incoming or outgoing calls and emails. This is a temporary position up to 40 hours/week. 

• Provide excellent customer service to students and families.
• Provide answers to families questions and concerns accuracy and completely.
• Help with outbound calls and missing documents.
• Work with counselors to call students who are missing documents.
• Answer all student inquires by phone.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of office practices, procedures, systems and equipment. Requires basic knowledge of grammar, spelling punctuation and simple mathematical functions. Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Access. 
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse population; ability to utilize BANNER or a similar relational database.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 6 months customer service experience.
