The temporary 5 week Senior Program Coordinator manages the flow of applicant inquiries and applications through the Admissions Office, culminating in the matriculation of entering students. The person will be responsible for: The majority of daily work consists of responding to prospective student inquiries by phone, email, and social networks, and shepherding applicant materials through the online application to the point of successful completion. Once a student is admitted, the work shifts to processing their admission, tracking their decision, onboarding them with proper University account access, and communicating with them about the incoming student checklist and Orientation events. This position also maintains the online application itself, and manages data reports for comparative Admissions statistics from year to year. As the “first face” of our office, this person is also responsible to provide hospitality to visiting students, whether their visit is planned or a “drop-in” visit without any prior appointment. This person also supervises the day-to-day work of the Admissions Office student employees. Beyond these duties, there are occasional projects as requested by the Director of Enrollment.


The hourly rate for the position is $26.75; 35 hours/week.


  • B.A. required; some graduate theological education preferred
  • Some professional admissions work preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task
  • Comfort with a fast-paced working environment and open office floor plan
  • Friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain an online database & accurate data entry
  • Ability to manage student workers effectively 
  • Facility with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Facility with technology such as video editing, basic graphic design capabilities (Canva, Adobe Creative suite) preferred
