Position Summary and Duties
Position Summary:
Design, develop, and deliver technology training programs for the entire Loyola community. Work with groups within Technology Services to determine training needs of the University. Address the various learning styles of Loyola constituents by ensuring a variety of training avenues are available, such as in-person classes, online learning and tutorials, one-on-one sessions and knowledge articles. 
Position Duties:
·       Research, design, develop, and deliver technical training programs to educate students, faculty and staff on the use of technology products and solutions. 
·       Produce training schedules, classroom agendas, and course content according to program objectives. 
·       Deliver both on-site and online customer trainings. 
·       Manage the event planning and arrangements for all trainings. 
·       Administer the training website and ensure all materials are current. 
·       Develop well written content, efficiently communicate material to the end-user, and effectively manage time allocated for training.
·       Work with subject matter experts to understand new technologies and develop appropriate training programs. 
·       Collaborate with supervisor and other members of Technology Services to identify training needs for new systems. 
·       Participate in University committee meetings as requested to advocate and advance Loyola’s training offerings. 
·       Assist with Technology Services’ projects and initiatives to ensure training requirements are met. 
·       Address operational tickets accurately and efficiently.
·       Develop and deliver surveys on existing training programs and future topics to ensure Technology Services is delivering high quality training that meets the end-user’s needs. 
·       Review course feedback surveys to identify areas of improvement and requests for additional training. Assist with creating, deploying, and analyzing needs assessment surveys to determine where additional trainings are to be developed. 
·       Evaluate and report on attendance and effectiveness of programs using evaluations, surveys, and reports. Maintain and report data on completed courses. Ensure continuous improvement and relevancy of program content and delivery based on feedback. 
·       Identify common questions that are being received from faculty, staff, administrators, and students, so that training can be created to address the issues. Utilizing report data from service management system, as well as qualitative measures such as conversations, meetings, and/or interviews to identify common questions or topics needing for improved support and training efforts.
Required Qualifications
·       Bachelor’s degree.
·       3 – 5 years of experience designing, developing and delivering technology training programs. 
·       Experience working in higher education and understanding of university processes and procedures. 
·       Able to quickly learn and understand new technologies. 
·       Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. 
·       Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
·       Must be able to support the University’s goals for institutional diversity, as well as the goals and values of a Catholic, Jesuit education.
