A Technical Project Manager at Hippo structures and drives projects from planning to completion using an agile software development approach within the Product Management team. As the sole Technical Project Manager, you have a broad span across all in-flight projects, agile teams, and tech processes. We appreciate a fresh perspective and a drive towards continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive simultaneous development projects to an on-time delivery at highest quality
- Run regular agile meetings for ticket and sprint management (grooming, reviews, etc.)
- Work closely with product managers to maintain a prioritized backlog of clearly defined work stories for the development team
- Consistently and effectively communicate project timelines and status
- Be extremely detail-oriented in all aspects of project delivery
- Recognize, raise awareness, and resolve project risks for simultaneous development
- Provide metrics to monitor work progress and tech activities
- Reinforce agile principles, practices, roles, and responsibilities

Qualifications:
- 1-5 years experience of agile project management
- Working knowledge of agile software development, processes, and techniques
- 1+ years Jira (or equivalent) workspace management
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, and remote work environment
