Job Details | Teaching Associate of Instructional Technology The CAEP accredited Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences at Coastal Carolina University, in Conway, South Carolina, invites applications for a Teaching Associate position in the Educational Studies Department beginning August, 2024. The department seeks an individual with the credentials to teach in-person undergraduate courses in Instructional Technology. Specific duties for this position include teaching a Monday and Wednesday hybrid 4:00 – 5:15 PM undergraduate Instructional Technology course (EDUC 204, Computer Technology and Instructional Media) section (on-campus teaching is required), as well as coordinating pacing and accreditation data collection expectations with the lead instructor and program coordinator. The course’s instructional materials and assessments already exist. There is the potential for the expansion of job duties into additional hybrid and fully online sections in the future. A Master’s degree in instructional technology or a closely related from an accredited or regionally accredited college/school is required with at least 3 years of experience teaching courses at the K-12 level, and knowledge of current instructional technologies. Preferred credentials include experience teaching undergraduate instructional technology courses, the ability to collaboratively work with multiple stakeholders, and deep, technical knowledge of and ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning. Individuals must be professionally qualified at time of hire and credentials should be consistent with the Council for Accreditation of Education Preparation (CAEP) accreditation. Applicants must have abilities, skills, and enthusiasm for teaching excellence and instructional innovation.
