Summary of Duties

The Department of Accounting in the Carson College of Business (CCB) at Washington State University Vancouver invites applications for a three-year visiting non-tenure-track position at the Teaching Assistant Professor level. We anticipate that this position will start Fall Semester 2024.

The successful candidate will teach eight 3-credit courses per academic year, serve as faculty advisor to the Beta Alpha Psi Nu Theta Chapter and VITA Club (student clubs), and assist the department as needed.

Required Qualifications

BA/BS in Accounting or equivalent coursework, and Masters in Accounting or closely aligned field.

The ideal candidate will have an accounting or finance industry background, teaching experience, and demonstrate ability to contribute to the service, equity, and diversity mission of the campus.

9 Monthly Salary:

$89,303 - $109,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Temporary three-year visiting non-tenure track position. This position does not provide U.S. work visa sponsorship. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.
