Description
JOB SUMMARY: The Systems Analyst and Developer serves as a key member of a dynamic team that supports the College's Enterprise Resource Planning/Student Information System (ERP/SIS), Colleague (Ellucian), and manages technical projects that advance important administrative and academic functions. Working with stakeholders, this individual would develop and implement creative solutions to address identified business requirements. The selected individual will report to the Director of Administrative Information Systems.
Employment Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE), Benefits-Eligible, Exempt (Salaried)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement system enhancements, customizations, and integrations to meet the evolving needs of the College
  • Monitor application integrity and ensure data accuracy and synchronization between various systems and departments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze business processes related to Ellucian Colleague
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and data flows
  • Provide secondary support for the installation, configuration, and management of hardware powering the College's ERP/SIS and other vital business systems
  • Generate and optimize reports using Entrinsik Informer to empower decision-making across various departments
  • Contribute to the documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and updates related to ERP/SIS systems and reporting tools
  • All other duties as assigned

Prerequisites
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS, AND EXPERTISE:
  • Experience with Ellucian Colleague and/or familiarity with higher education ERP/SIS systems
  • Demonstrated familiarity with database systems and query languages
  • Demonstrated familiarity with UNIX and Windows operating systems
  • Experience working with Web APIs, .NET development, and Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Experience with multi-valued databases, Unidata, Ellucian Colleague, Entrinsik Informer, Scripting Languages, Web Development, or SQL
  • Positive attitude and dedication to delivering exceptional customer-oriented results
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, performed in small group settings and via email, chat, etc.
  • Proven ability to work independently in diagnosing problems and providing solutions to difficult problems in a complex environment
  • Ongoing commitment to continuous learning and professional development

REMOTE WORK: Ideally, this position is on campus in the office 4 days a week with 1 day remote. This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work environment once an initial training period has been completed.
