Job Summary/Basic Function
Provide administrative support for the Education Abroad Office during the summer term; Processing of new study abroad student applications, creating files and monitoring the receipt of required documents from students and faculty. Accept new and ongoing projects and completes tasks in a timely manner with program deadlines.
Specific Responsibilities
Working with the Customer Relation Management System (CRM) Slate2. Front office contact person assisting student, faculty, and staff with Education Abroad Program inquiries.
Work Schedule
The Education Abroad Office is open Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. The schedule will be determined according to the student’s class schedule and availability for 20-hours work hours.

Job Duties


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist Program Director with international transcript articulation and course approval tracking. 
  • Work with each ISU College Transfer Specialist in seeking course equivalencies and approvals for traditional study abroad students. 
  • Work closely with Financial Aid, Office of Registration and Records, and Admissions. 
  • Pre-Departure Orientation for study abroad. 
  • Assist with the presentation and confirming attendees/speakers. 
  • Assist with student records through software and learning management systems: Banner, Talisma/CRM
  • Assist with special projects related to internationalization as needed. 
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.
