Position Summary Information


Job Description Summary
Overnight Counselor for Instrumental or Vocal Summer Music Camp.
Responsibilities
Duties may include: Preparing decorations, welcome signs and welcome activities prior to the camp; Check-in Campers on Sunday evenings; Make sure campers know the camp rules and follow them; Organize evening activities (game nights, ice cream trips, etc.); Make sure each camper checks into dorm each night and is in room at lights out; make sure camper make it to breakfast and check-in to first morning activity on campus; Handle keycard issues (with conference staff), emergencies (with public safety); roommate issues, homesickness, etc.; Check out campers and clean up on Saturday mornings.
Required Qualifications
Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn support process. Completion of LiveScan and Minor Training Module.
Desired Qualifications
A music major or interest in music. Prior experience working with high school students.
Special Instructions to Applicants
Please indicate if you are interested in working the Instrumental camp (June 9-15) and/or the vocal camp (June 16-22). In addition to the hourly wage, this job includes room and board.
