The Atlanta Metropolitan State College is an institution of the University System of Georgia. We are now accepting applications for Part-time Instructors for the Upward Bound Summer Enrichment Program. The Summer Enrichment Program will be held at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia, which is located approximately 100 miles from Atlanta Metropolitan State College.

 Provide provides our students with the appropriate skill acquisition in writing and language arts. 

Helps students strengthen their comprehension and skill development needed to be successful in areas related to the language arts based on their skill level assessments. 

Establish classroom management policies and procedures needed to maintain a productive, conducive, classroom environment. 

Work with Upward Bound staff to integrate special subject lessons and activities with core academic curriculum. 

Attend teacher orientation/planning session(s), program activities, & final teacher evaluation closing session.

This position is listed as Campus Safety Authority (CSA).

Bachelor degree in related subject area. 

Two years of teaching experience/instruction at the high school or college/university level. 

Masters degree in related subject area

$2,000.00 /semester
