Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary	The Fowler School of Engineering is seeking students enthusiastic about working with high school students and teaching them fundamentals of coding, computer vision, and other engineering principles. These students will work with Chelsea Parlett to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Responsibilities	Attend all 1-day workshops Assist instructor with planning and testing workshop structure during Spring Semester Assist with workshop preparation, set up, and teardown Assist student attendees with hardware, debugging, and other issues as needed Lead portions of the workshops in conjunction with the instructor Must pass Live Scan background check
Required Qualifications	Be available for all of the workshops: 6/25/24, 7/9/24, 7/16/24, 7/23/24 Expertise in Python Willingness to create a welcoming environment that encourages participation in the workshops. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications	Experience using OpenCV (or other Computer Vision packages) Experience working with Raspberry Pi , Arduino Experience mentoring, tutoring, or leading students
