THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN CLARK COUNTY and Hours are flexible. This position can work up to 28 hours if taking classes and up to 38 hours during the summer and/or academic breaks.

Responsibilities are basic and routine in nature.  This may include performing administrative duties in an office, assisting in a research laboratory, aid faculty/staff in supporting academic programs or patient care.  Duties will be clear and direct.  The Student Assistant will require excellent customer service and strong organizational skills and will represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values. 

OSU Extension, Clark County is seeking to hire a  student assistant to work with the horticulture program for May -August 2024.  in the Snyder Park Gardens & Arboretum.  Student assistant will assist the horticulture educator  and work with volunteers with designing, planting, and maintaining gardens.  Student assistant will prepare program materials through computer creation of documents using Word, Publisher, Excel, duplication through copying, collating, stapling, preparing mailings and packing materials for program use outside of the office. Students will utilize excel and 4-H data management systems.
