The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
 

Position Summary

The School of Nursing is looking to hire two (2) Columbia University students to assist (in-office) with a nationwide research study. The candidate will work with a team of researchers at the Center for Health Policy at Columbia University School of Nursing. The nature of the research is understanding infection prevention, emergency preparedness and COVID-19 experiences of nursing homes in the US.

This is a grant-funded position and continued employment is contingent upon the grant.


Responsibilities

Duties will include:

  • Participating in recruitment activities including:
    1) Aiding with preparing mailings,
    2) Verifying contact information for nursing homes,
    3) Recruiting nursing homes through phone calls and emails;
  • Assisting with survey data entry and data cleaning;
  • Attending weekly research-related meetings (in-person or via Zoom), and;
  • Performing other related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and must be a currently enrolled Columbia University student.
