Position Summary Information


Job Description Summary
Provide general research support.
Responsibilities
Student will collect water samples from the Newport Back Bay and carry out a series of measurements on the sample. These measurements include water quality measurements (salinity, pH, etc), bacterial counts, and ethanol degradation rate measurements by purge and trap GC/MS. Students will also prep samples for analyses to be carried out by other labs.
Required Qualifications
Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn departmental processes. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
