Job Description Summary | Provide general research support. |

Responsibilities | Student will collect water samples from the Newport Back Bay and carry out a series of measurements on the sample. These measurements include water quality measurements (salinity, pH, etc), bacterial counts, and ethanol degradation rate measurements by purge and trap GC/MS. Students will also prep samples for analyses to be carried out by other labs. |
Required Qualifications | Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn departmental processes. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. |
