Position Summary

Location: Off Campus, TriCore Reference Laboratories

The Department of Pathology is seeking a highly organized and motivated student to join our team as an Office Assistant, working 15-20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position provides a great opportunity for students who are interested in gaining experience in an administrative setting.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate for this position will provide general assistance to the Hematopathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology Divisions faculty, fellows, residents, and Pathology Administrative offices. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Handling routine administrative tasks such as, printing and scanning, data entry, and correspondence
  • Maintaining and organizing online records and files
  • Assisting with event planning and coordination
  • Updating and managing weekly schedules
  • Performing other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • At least one year of customer service or office work experience
