The University System of Georgia (USG) is comprised of 26 higher education institutions as well as the University System Office (USO). Within the USO, our administrative operations are primarily housed in the Trinity Washington Building located in downtown Atlanta. Our Information Technology Services (ITS) division is located in Athens. The University System of Georgia Shared Services Center (SSC) is located in Sandersville. The Georgia Public Library System is located in Atlanta. The Georgia Archives is located in Morrow. The State of Georgia Records Center is located in Austell.

Paid part-time summer and fall internships at the University System of Georgia (USG) Information Technology Services (ITS) office.  Working with ITS based in Athens, Georgia, to provide network, infrastructure, and software solutions to USG institutions supporting students, faculty, and staff throughout the state of Georgia.  This intern position will be fully involved in normal technology operations including working with computing infrastructure, Database Administration, ERP Applications, Security, and PC support team members in resolving issues and assisting with projects. 

Work with Analysts in researching customer software issues.

Develop, create, maintain, and write/code new (or modifies existing) scripts, API integrations, or specialized utility programs.

Create and update well organized Excel spreadsheets for data input and easy information reference.

Assist in administering ERP application system support tickets.

Prepare and edit presentations and documentation for ITS initiatives, events, or deliverables.

Assist with miscellaneous projects that involve analysis and preparation of system/application data.

Applicants must be enrolled in a University System of Georgia institution and completed two years of college prior to applying. 

Students must be in good academic standing to be considered.
