The Compliance Program supports The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and The Ohio State University by working with business units to ensure that the medical center is in compliance with applicable regulations. The Compliance Program is managed by the Office of Compliance and Integrity under the direction of the Assistant Vice President for Medical Center Compliance. The Compliance Program assists medical center leaders by developing consistent processes to identify and mitigate compliance risks and to respond to emerging compliance issues.


Under the direction of the Associate Director of Compliance, a student intern’s duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring and summarizing enforcement actions;

  • Assisting with planning process design and implementation of various department audits;

  • Reviewing and editing compliance training modules;

  • and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Student must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at The Ohio State University in business, law, or health administration, preferably with some previous work experience; must be able to demonstrate writing, project management, and solid interpersonal skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications desired. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate will be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
