Job Summary
  • Provide first level support for faculty, staff, and students through Virtual Help Desk (Zoom), phone, email, or face-to-face, to solve technical concerns related, but not limited to:

o    Brightspace, Lecture Capture, Collaboration software, Web Conferencing, Active Learning Tools, Accessibility Remediation

  • Ensure projects assigned by supervisor are completed in a timely manner
  • Update social media with important information
  • Work individually and/or in a group setting
  • Utilize Microsoft tools, Google, and Adobe products
  • Construct flyers/handouts
  • Maintain a positive presence on campus and in the OIT during regular working hours, as well as off duty hours

Education
  • Must be a current undergraduate student at Purdue University Northwest
  • Minimum student enrollment status of 6 credits hours
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or above

Experience
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience using help desk software and remote support tools
  • Experience with learning management systems (Brightspace preferred)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
