Job Summary

LexPets is looking for a friendly, detail oriented person to keep
our dog daycare and pet boarding facility clean and safe for the
pets that visit our facility.
Cleaning responsibilities:
-Daily cleaning of 40-50 kennels following a multi-step process
that includes vacuuming, sanitizing, washing and mopping.
-Daily cleaning and or scrubbing of pet beds
-Complete general cleaning duties as posted or assigned
-Cleaning and filling water bowls, kongs, and other toys
-This position is primarily focused on cleaning of the facility
however there are responsibilities for the care of our pets.
Pet care responsibilities:
-Understand and follow, without exception, feeding and medication
instructions
-Ensure pets are safe and in their assigned kennels at the end of
the shift
-Perform last let-out for potty with individual dogs before end
of shift
-Ensure water dishes are full where appropriate.
The position is part time for 12-20 hours a week in the evenings
generally from 6-10 PM. The evening hours and some weekends are
required. You must have reliable transportation and be able to
work independently without supervision.

REQUIRED Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities : The ideal candidate
will have a strong work ethic and be able to fulfill the
responsibilities outlined below. You must be honest, dependable,
prompt and be comfortable around dogs of all shapes, sizes and
breeds (and even the occasional cat).
