The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Coordinator of Student Conduct on the Gainesville campus. The Student Conduct Coordinator investigates and adjudicates alleged violations of behavioral policies by University students and student organizations found in violation of University policies which promote personal and educational development and maintain University standards. Oversees and conducts proactive educational academic integrity and behavioral programming. Assists with the daily operations of the Office of Student Integrity and actively participates in outreach and liaison activities. This position will be located on the Gainesville campus but will be expected to travel to the other campuses as needed.

  • Responsible for adjudicating minor behavioral misconduct cases that occur off- and on-campus. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling and attending all student conduct conferences, making a final decision on the case, and formally communicating the decision to the appropriate parties. This position plays a critical role in institutional risk management mitigation, and in supporting full compliance with UNG, USG, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Responsible for investigating major behavioral and student organization misconduct cases that occur off- and on-campus. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling and attending investigation interviews with the Respondent, witnesses, and the Reporter (if applicable), writing the investigation report, and making any final recommendations to the Student Conduct Administrator.
  • Assists in the development and delivery of proactive educational programming for academic integrity and behavioral matters to ensure full compliance with the Board of Regents policies and guidelines, and in keeping with best practices within the field. This position serves a critical role to ensure the University remains in full compliance with USG, State, and Federal guidelines and policies regarding the integrity of the Code of Conduct and due process proceedings.
  • Supports the Assistant Dean of Student Integrity by managing the administration of all student conduct panel hearings. This includes (but is not limited to) scheduling logistics for all hearings, creating/communicating case files to students/panel members, and addressing any concerns/questions regarding hearing logistics.
  • Supports the Assistant Dean of Student Integrity in training, education, and outreach initiatives for student committee panelists, RA staff, athletes, student participating in international programs, Corps of Cadets, and other constituents (as needed).
  • Supports the implementation of student conduct policies, procedures, and sanctions in accordance with national best practices for the Student Code of Conduct. Ensures compliance with all UNG, USG, state, and federal policies, procedures, and requirements for student disciplinary matters. Serves as the primary administrator to communicate the Honor Code and
  • Standards of Conduct to all students, staff and faculty members.
  • Supports the Assistant Dean of Student Integrity in training, education, and outreach initiatives for; student committee panelists, RA staff, athletes, student participating in International program, Corps members, and other constituents as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
  • One-Two (1-2) years of experience in student conduct or student affairs, working with conduct boards or related work experience required.
