Job Summary
 

Coordinate implementation and engagement of student conduct programs and services on campus.
This position has been identified by Federal Law (Jeanne Clery Act) as a Campus Security Authority (CSA), with significant student and campus responsibilities. CSA 's are obligated to report crimes reported to them which occurred on campus, in public areas bordering campus and in certain non-campus buildings owned or controlled (leased) by the University.


Responsibilities
 
  • Adjudicate violations of the Code of Student Conduct 
  • Administer the Code of Student Conduct Process 
  • Serve as single hearing officer and hearing chair for University Student Conduct Board 
  • Implement educational programs relating to the Code of Student Conduct 
  • Manage administrative tasks utilizing the database to maintain records 
  • Draft reports and correspondence related to the student conduct process 
  • Coordinate training for faculty, staff, and student on the student conduct process 
  • Work with the Associate Dean of Student Conduct & Community Standards in reviewing and updating of Code of Student Conduct 
  • Assist the Associate Dean of Student Conduct & Community Standards with assessment initiatives and special projects 
  • Attend meetings as a representative of the Office of Student Conduct as requested 
  • Serve as liaison with other departments on campus

Required Qualifications
 

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

  • Three (3) or more years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
 

Preferred Educational Qualifications

  • Master's Degree

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Maxient (Student Conduct Database)

Proposed Salary
 

$17.55 - $21.19 per hour 

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
