THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN HAMILTON COUNTY and Hours are flexible. This position can work up to 28 hours if taking classes and up to 38 hours during the summer and/or academic breaks.

Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees.  Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment.  Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role.  Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.  

The intern will support Hamilton County 4-H/ANR program coordinator's therapeutic horticulture program funded by the Hamilton County Department of Public Health. The intern will work directly with the 4-H/ANR program coordinator to help lead efforts to address mental well-being and combat social isolation issues via horticulture. The intern will support youth mental wellness efforts and the  while assisting with educational programming for youth throughout Hamilton County. The intern will assist with the development of educational materials, conduct community based programs and participate in professional and public meetings.

The intern will have a varying work schedule with a considerable amount of fluctuation based on community and program needs.

Intern will be expected to be proficient with basic Microsoft Office Suite, experience with cloud-based database preferred.

This position requires dependable transportation to program sites.
