The STEM Pathways for Underrepresented Students to HigherEd (STEM PUSH) Network is a project in the Broadening Equity in STEM Center, which is in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. This high-profile National Science Foundation (NSF) funded project, established a national network of STEM precollege programs and a mechanism to strengthen and accredit these programs for college admissions consideration, is in search of a project coordinator to manage aspects of the project. The project coordinator's primary responsibilities are to manage the execution of the project by working with a team of personnel from the University of Pittsburgh and the STEM Learning Ecosystem, facilitating the successful and timely completion of milestones for a suite of projects, and keeping the project within budget and in regulatory compliance. The project coordinator is expected to understand all aspects of the STEM PUSH Network and the role of all partners. In addition, the project coordinator will regularly interact with national partners and others who are key to the successful execution of the project. A qualified candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, project management experience, experience working with racially diverse populations, strong interpersonal, writing and communications skills, strong analytical skills, and demonstrated expertise in budgets and accounting. Job Summary

Oversees all aspects of planning, design, and execution of multiple, small routine projects or a moderately complex project. Assists in developing timelines and ensures adherence to deadlines. Manages financial aspects of projects and other administrative duties. Handles external correspondence and drafts reports and other communications.


Essential Functions 

1. Computer-based work in Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, and other applications for the majority of the work day.
2. Facilitate zoom calls with camera on each day.
3. Travel to campus for in-person team meetings when required.
4. Manage in-person convening preparation, set-up, execution, and break down at least twice/year which involves moving materials between campus locations and time spent standing.

Minimal - localized around convening set up/break down twice/year.

Hiring Range $48,743.00 to $64,990.00
