Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director for Basic Needs, the Outreach Coordinator for AggieFresh is tasked with planning and executing outreach initiatives for the AggieFresh program, while also assisting the CalFresh Coordinator with similar responsibilities. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of AggieFresh, including the supervision of student interns and engagement with various campus stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education/Experience:           

  • Demonstrated experience with project management, including development and coordination of plans, communication, collaboration, budget, and time management.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years related experience

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) :

  • Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information; collect and research data and design workflow and procedures with excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and write professional reports and correspondence.
  • Knowledge of University processes and procedures.
  • Capable of professionally managing confidential information
  • Ability to multitask, verbal communication, written communication and organization skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Education/Experience:            

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in project development and management.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring student interns.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) :

  • Proficiency in data tracking and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) formerly known as Food Stamps and known in California as CalFresh or other state or federal assistance program.
