Description of Work Unit | The Department of Statistics at Colorado State University currently comprises 21 faculty and over 50 graduate students, and has a network of faculty affiliates at nearby research agencies (National Center for Atmospheric Research, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, among others). Our faculty members have a wide range of expertise and are involved in various interdisciplinary graduate training and research activities. Fort Collins, the home of Colorado State University, is located one hour north of Denver, in a beautiful location along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Fort Collins is an appealing city of almost 170,000 that offers a pleasant climate with abundant recreational and cultural opportunities nearby. Position Summary | The Department of Statistics seeks applications in 2024 from individuals who are interested in obtaining non-tenure track teaching positions within the department. Annual terms and reappointment may depend on performance and/or the continued availability of funding. The department provides instruction of both undergraduate and graduate students. Preferred Job Qualifications | Experience teaching large sections of a variety of Statistics courses. |
