Department Summary
HSC Health is the academic clinical practice of the Health Science Center. Focused on improving health outcomes to build a healthier community, HSC Health primary and multispecialty care clinics are located on theHSC campus located in the Fort Worth museum district. Our care teams extend to local hospitals, surgery centers, long-term and continuing care centers, and mobile and in-home care. HSC Health’s interprofessional teams work collaboratively to achieve an optimized treatment plan tailored to the individual patient. Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physical therapists, pharmacists, social workers, psychologists, specialized technicians, and nurses work together while intentionally integrating healthcare students, residents, and fellows to deliver care to our community.
Position Overview
The University of North Texas Health Science Center (HSC), HSC Health is seeking a full-time physician to provide care within the HSC Health Performing Arts Medicine clinic.

Minimum Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited medical school. Must be licensed to practice medicine in Texas or another state or have completed at least two years of postgraduate residency (not limited to the United States); Must have passed the Texas Medical Jurisprudence Examination and must be able to obtain a State of Texas Medical License.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Be licensed to practice medicine in another state or have completed at least two years of postgraduate residency (not limited to the United States) Passed the Texas Medical Jurisprudence Examination Ability to practice medicine within the scope of license, training and credentials Ability to care for a diverse patient population
Preferred Qualifications
Applicant must be able to provide clinical care in accordance with their completed residency training. Must be able to perform common medical procedures associated with that scope of practice. The applicant must be able to work independently on scholarly projects and complete educational assignments as indicated through their curriculum.
Required License / Registration / Certification
Medical degree from an accredited medical school. Must be licensed to practice medicine in Texas or another state and have completed a post-graduate residency.

Texas Medical Board unrestricted medical license

M-F on call as assigned

Job Duties


o
Medical care to patients with various medical conditions
Examine, diagnose, develop and review treatment plans, ongoing care, order and review additional tests as needed to treat medical patients of all ages

Perform medical procedures in accordance with standards of care and training, including osteopathic manipulative treatment
o
Timely documentation care provided within an electronic health record
Coordinate and integrate care across all elements of the healthcare system
