Position Summary:

Responsible for leading the creation, development, and implementation of multimedia projects across various platforms. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to produce compelling multimedia content that enhances our brand identity, engages our audience, and drives results. This role requires a creative visionary with exceptional technical expertise and a passion for multimedia storytelling in videography, photography, and animations. 

 

Position Key Accountabilities:


1. Conceptualize, design, and produce multimedia content including videos, animations, graphics, and interactive media for online and offline channels.
2. Lead end-to-end project management of multimedia initiatives, including defining project scope, timelines, and resource allocation
3. Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in multimedia production and design tools. Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including content writers, designers, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with brand objectives and messaging.
5. Maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all multimedia content produced. Conduct thorough reviews and edits to ensure accuracy, relevance, effectiveness, and adherence to all patient privacy laws.
6. Maintains all media-related equipment, facilities, and supplies.
7. Researches and recommends new media technologies to advance department strategy.
8. Adheres to University policy, standards and guidelines regarding use of social media, photos and videos.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Certification/Skills:

Proven track record of successfully leading multimedia projects from concept to execution, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
Advanced proficiency in multimedia production software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Final Cut Pro, and other relevant tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Experience with content management systems, social media knowledge and experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, YouTube, etc.
Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in video editing, animation, and photography

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Videography, Cinematography or related field. Equivalent level of education and/or experience may
substitute for education requirement.

Minimum Experience:

Five (5) years related experience preferably in multimedia production, video editing, photography and social media.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.

Residency Requirement:

Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
