Position Summary

The School of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Department is hiring a grader for its ME 160L course in the Spring 2024 semester.  The grader is responsible for:

  • Grading weekly homework assignments, projects, and quizzes.
  • Assisting in grading exams as directed by the instructor.
  • Maintaining a gradebook for the course as directed by the instructor.
  • Holding weekly office hours as directed by the instructor.
  • Answering student questions regarding assignments.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Successfully completed ME 160L with a grade of B or better.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles, methods, and procedures for assigning grades to mathematical and/or engineering problems.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Flexible Schedule
  • Dependable
