| Job Description | Anoka-Ramsey Community College is seeking one full-time, fixed-term faculty member for Communication Studies for the 2024-2025 academic year. The primary responsibilities include teaching a variety of Communication Studies course offerings. Teaching responsibilities will be primarily face-to-face classes on the Coon Rapids campus and may include opportunities for online or hybrid instruction. Faculty are expected to engage in discipline, division, and college matters through attendance at division meetings, service on committees, and continued professional development. The Communication Studies department is committed to guiding our students and colleagues to be more effective communicators; and seeks engaged and equity-minded candidates with strong interpersonal skills. | Benefits Info | Full-time faculty salaries are based on an evaluation of education and related experience after a job offer has been accepted and currently range from $51,303 -$94,592. Full-time faculty work 171 days during a nine-month academic year and receive excellent benefits including health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, short and long-term disability, paid personal and sick leave, retirement savings plans, tuition waiver for employees and dependents, professional development funds, along with many optional benefit programs. ** Please note, Initial Step Placement is established by the Minnesota State College Faculty (MSCF) contract in which sets salary limitations to what a new faculty member is able to begin at. This will differ from the maximum salary range in this posting.
