The purpose of this position is to assist with the operations of the Office of Student Life and Engagement.

High School Diploma/GED and one year experience working with the public in a customer service position is preferred.  Proven capability to manage projects independently; excelling interpersonal skills, and the ability to solve problems independently are required. Able to work extra hours during peak periods and fill in for absences as needed as assigned schedule may include non-standard hours.

  • Assist with all co-curricular programs in support of the Office of Student Life including planning and implementation.
  • Assist with oversight of clubs and organizations meetings and events.
  • Maintain the pantry including record keeping and inventory
  • Process payments and deposits of office-based events, fundraisers and memberships 
  • Provide office management oversight including delegation of daily job tasks, ordering of supplies, etc 
  • Assist with Student Life and Engagement communications including social media, texting, flyers, student portal, etc.
  • Correspond regularly with the Assistant Director to ensure Student Life needs are met. 
  • Perform administrative tasks, as needed, such as but not limited to as answering phone calls and emails, processing information and documents, maintaining filing systems, record keeping and managing correspondence.
