Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | To provide holistic public health legal services, with a focus on rural communities, for the School of Law’s medical legal partnership known as CHAMPS (Carolina Health Advocacy Medico/Legal Partnership) under the supervision of a senior attorney. This is a full-time grant-funded position. |

Required Education and Experience | J.D. degree or J.D. graduate candidate with a May 2024 expected graduation date. |

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Experience working with a medical legal partnership. Ability to work for and with the families of children who are patients of Prisma Health. Ability to collaborate with law school faculty, staff, and students. |

Job Duty | Support CHAMPS attorneys with the representation of low-income clients referred to CHAMPS from Prisma Health. |
