Job Summary/Responsibilities | The Department of Art and Design is looking for approved FWS students to work in the Digital Photo Labs. • Coordinate with Photography Faculty and the Teaching Laboratory Specialist to open/close the digital photography lab and supervise students/equipment during open lab hours • Assist students with technical support • Maintain inkjet printers and scanners • Keep record of equipment rented to students and ensure it is returned in working order • Tidy up and lock the lab at the end of each shift, turn off equipment (printers, scanners and computers) • Worksite will be located in 45/2813 and tentative hours are 5pm-9pm M-F |
Required Qualifications | Must be a current UNF student who qualifies for Federal Work Study (FWS) funding • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours • Computer-literate and up-to-date with latest MAC software • Familiar with operating printers and scanners, but training on how to maintain this equipment will be offered • Ensure the lab remains supervised, tidy and in working condition during your shift |
Preferred Qualifications | • Enrolled as a Junior or Senior in the Photography program. Photo minors may be considered. • Knowledge of the Adobe Photo Suite (Photoshop, Bridge, etc) • Familiarity with Epson professional photographic printers and scanners a plus • Available to assist/answer questions students may have about Adobe programs • Able to provide subjective/constructive advice if asked for an opinion on a student’s work |
