Required Degree : PhD in Sociology or related field.

Experience : The Department of Sociology in the College of Family, Home, and Social Science at Brigham Young University is looking to fill two full-time Continuing Faculty Status-track (BYU equivalent of "tenure-track") appointments beginning in the Fall semester of 2025. We invite individuals of all ranks and areas of specialization to apply. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in sociology or a related field, a well-defined research agenda, and a strong interest in undergraduate and graduate teaching. A visiting faculty appointment may be considered. The Department of Sociology values diversity and experiences with diverse populations. 

Duties/Expectations : Faculty members will be expected to conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and participate in various forms of service to the department, college, university, and discipline.
