Position Summary | The selected candidate will assist in research activities for an intervention research project, involving a study of the TEACCH School Transition to Employment and Postsecondary Education (T-STEP) program for young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Other research activities will include related research projects on factors that affect outcomes for adults with autism. Activities will involve assisting the project coordinator with participant recruitment, conducting assessments around the state of North Carolina, and data collection and entry. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | The selected candidate must have knowledge and experience of MS Office suite, excellent verbal/written communication skills, and strong organizational skills. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | The department has a preference for candidates with experience in developmental or clinical research, and survey and statistical package software. Previous understanding and experience working with individuals with autism and/or other developmental disabilities is also preferred. |
