Position Summary/Description:


The primary function of this position will be to work closely with the Assistant Director of Research Operations to coordinate and oversee active research studies in the Matthew Gfeller Center, specifically working with federally funded Department of Defense (DOD) awards.
The program manager will manage all aspects of DOD funded research projects, with an emphasis on the Assessing & Tracking Tactical Forces Initiative Phase 2 (ATTAC2). The program manager serves as a key member of the project management team and will be responsible for the overall functioning and coordination of the project(s).
Responsibilities for this position include providing overall project management including:
a. Ensuring study participants are screened, recruited, consented, and enrolled.
b. Oversee project staff/trainees' schedules and ensure on-campus research visits that include neuroimaging, biospecimen processing, clinical/physiological measures, and standardized testing are coordinated.
c. Oversee data collection, entry and management and maintain accurate participant files.
d. Work closely with IRB and the DOD Office of Human Research Oversight (OHRO) to ensure all regulatory standards are being met to carry out specific research protocols.
e. Work closely with other study team members and Principal Investigators at collaborating sites to coordinate and manage all research activities in accordance with study protocol, standard operating procedures and other appropriate institutional regulations, procedures and policies, including procedures to safeguard confidentiality of study participants and maintaining the highest ethical and professional research standards.
f. Assist with other duties as assigned by Center leadership

Education and Experience:


Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
