Posting Text | The Department of Family Medicine at the USD Sanford School Of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed individual to assist in the overall administration of the required Pillar 2 Objective Structured Clinical Exams (OSCE’s) and the Cultural Immersion Course (CI). Working in conjunction with the OSCE director and CI director, this position will be responsible for the successful implementation of both of these programs, which includes, but is not limited to successful recruitment of OSCE examiners, establishing a multi-faceted OSCE schedule for the students to follow, and ensuring all necessary materials are in place on the day of the exam. Additionally, this position will be responsible for arranging volunteer sites for the Pillar 2 students for the Cultural Immersion course, lining up speakers, and ensuring all student requirements are completed in a timely manner. Other duties will include compiling information for the annual report, and serving as the purchasing assistant. This position requires a high standard of confidentiality and professionalism; exceptional customer service skills; ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy; exceptional organizational skills; very strong attention to detail; and interpersonal skills. Must be able to multi-task and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team on special projects. Event planning experience is beneficial but not required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power point, and Outlook). Open until filled. |
