Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Senior Research Technician to conduct research projects and assist with research activities that focus on assessing immune markers in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis in both mice and human patients.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Kipnis lab at Washington University School of Medicine. Our lab is at the forefront of neuroimmunology research focused on complex interactions between the immune and nervous systems. Utilizing animal models, primarily mice, and fostering collaborations with academic and industry partners, we investigate how the nervous and immune systems talk to each other in health and disease.
Our groundbreaking work has led to the discovery of lymphatic vessels in brain tissues, challenging established beliefs in neuroimmunology and expanding our comprehension of the immune system's role in neurological disorders. Specializing in cutting-edge techniques such as imaging, flow cytometry, and 10x Genomics scRNA sequencing, the Kipnis lab is committed to pushing the boundaries of scientific discovery.
