Job Description

• Design electronics in support of scientific research projects in the Boston University Electronics Design Facility.
• Take responsibility for project management and software development.
• Work with the Director in project scheduling and facility operations.
• Supervise and train student technicians.
• Participate in teaching and outreach activities.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience required, Masters degree preferred.
• Significant proficiency in operation of electronic and mechanical CAD/CAE design software
• Specific experience in operation of electronic test/measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and signal generators, in PCB design, including impedance control and multilayer design techniques
• Programmable logic design experience for FPGAs using VHDL or Verilog HCL
• Proficiency at analog circuit design and simulation, and eight years of related experience.
