Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Vice Provost, the Senior CRM Manager will play a primary strategic role in the design, configuration strategy, and deployment of our new Slate CRM. The Senior CRM Manager will be responsible for helping ensure that the CRM is configured to address the functional needs of the Kansas City University Admissions Team, Advancement, and University Relations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acts as the primary CRM administrator and Enrollment Analytics lead
- Plan, implement and develop CRM systems and applications procedures and other documentations
- Manages the day to day operation, use, and configuration of the system. Maintains functionality, appearance, and settings within community areas of the CRM
- Oversees communications to prospective student audiences using compelling and engaging content in written and visual formats
- Works closely with the Admissions team to build, maintain, and enhance communication plan for prospective and accepted students to achieve desired enrollment outcomes
- Collaborates with the University Relations team to enhance communication with all KCU constituents
- Works closely with the University Advancement team to enhance communication with all KCU alums
- Provide support and comprehensive training for functional Slate CRM users
- Manages system changes, updates, and releases. Verifies through testing and auditing that all objects, permissions, and assignments are performing as expected. Addresses or escalates issues as needed
- Maintain the data field mapping document for the Slate CRM system's connection with other University teams including Workday to ensure the data bridge is working with any updates
- Manages and supports the Enrollment Management technology systems, tools, and applications to ensure reliable systems usability, security, maintenance, and integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to records, integration, and general system issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, advanced degrees preferred
- Experience in implementing and using admissions CRM technology; Slate CRM experience preferred
- Must possess the ability to work effectively and positively as part of the Admissions Team
- Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment
- Ability to interface with information technology team, business analysts, functional users, external vendors and other stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to create technical documentation and flowcharts preferred.
- Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to anticipate needs and maintain resourcefulness.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
