What we want

The Senior Athletic Assistant, under general supervisions, is responsible for providing support to the Head Football Coach or Assistant Football Coaches as assigned.

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire's experience.

Position details: Travel required with assigned sport. Ability to work flexible hours (nights, weekend and holidays) as required to complete assigned duties.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years of experience in athletic administration, football recruiting, football operation and/or football coaching experience at high school or colligate level.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven knowledge of NCAA rules.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree.

Essential Duties/Tasks

  • FOOTBALL VIDEO - Organizes and distributes all video. Performs all other necessary duties involving the handling of football video.
  • VIDEO ANALYSIS - Performs computer break down and analysis of football video for assigned football student-athletes, as well as the assigned position of opponents.
  • LIAISON - Liaises between football coaching staff (offense or defense) and video staff, providing specific video information and statistics as requested.
  • COMPLIANCE - Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations concerning student-athletes: conduct, appearance, road games, punctuality and other areas as deemed appropriate. Maintains awareness of and supports various initiatives of the Athletics Department. Compliance is a shared responsibility. Performs other duties as assigned.
