|Summary of Duties||
Enterprise Security is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the Vulnerability Management program within the Security Operations team.
With a moderate level of autonomy & decision making authority the Senior Security Engineer will lead content development and service ownership of the Vulnerability Management team. The individual will be expected to operate as key member within the larger Enterprise Security, Security Operations team and could be called upon to help analyze security threats and related security issues.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Evaluate existing vulnerability management systems and subsystems for viability or optimizations;
Scanning for vulnerabilities, evaluating scope and exposure;
Working with system and service owners to patch, isolate, or otherwise mitigate critical vulnerabilities.
Developing exposure metrics, detecting trends, and assisting the larger Enterprise Security team in developing controls or defensive measures.
Regularly review and act upon data discoveries.
Participate in incident response processes as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Info Technology, or equivalent combination of experience; three years in an information security role or IT support role with significant security responsibilities; 5-8 years of information technology experience; excellent communication & problem solving skills; ability to interact with a wide variety of people; aptitude for learning & applying technical skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently; high level of self-initiative and self-motivation.
Experience working with Linux/Unix systems; familiarity with prioritizing vulnerabilities and other security related issues in a diverse environment; knowledge of Splunk.
