Job Summary
The Department of Surgery in the College of Medicine is seeking a Scientist I.
This position will perform cell-based assays and animal studies. Be involved in analysis of primary data and be able to use this information to design new experiments. Experience with flow cytometry and immunology preferred but not necessary. This position will help new members learn their way around the lab and assist with maintaining laboratory inventory. Keep detailed records of experiments and critically evaluate results in order to identify the proper/new direction to take for future experiments. Analyze the data, generate figures/table for publication. This position will ensure compliance with general lab safety, UK and government regulations. Reviews lab manuals for protocols and techniques and makes modifications.
